At Pickfords Pharmacy we are Always Here to Help with medicines, healthcare advice and services, as the provider of choice in the communities we serve.

We want to be more than just a pharmacy, and that starts with our people.  We are passionate about the services we provide to our patients and customers, and we understand how important those services are.  We realise that we can only make a difference by having the best, most dedicated people in the Pickfords Pharmacy family.  Every one of our branches has a dedicated team who are responsible for dispensing medicines, providing advice and support, delivering healthcare services and generally looking after their local community.  Our teams get to know their customers, understand their specific needs and we like to think they go the extra mile every day to make people’s lives better.

Employee Assistance program for them and their families. This is a free and confidential 24 hour helpline to support you though any of life's problems or issues.

Employee check in’s Here at Pickfords Pharmacy we look after each other, and we promote check in’s. If we see or hear that a colleague is struggling then checking in with them to chat can sometimes be beneficial. It is ok to say you are not ok, there is help there.

Learning & development

• Upon joining Pickfords pharmacy all employees receive a comprehensive induction, and are paired with a mentor to ensure they have the best start.

• Full support is given to our pharmacy teams through their pharmacy qualifications. We provide face to face classroom training, online training and Lunch & Learns.

• All development opportunities are actively searched by our dedicated training manager.

• We are passionate about upskilling our employees so they can be the best they can be.
